Insurance

Different types of insurance explained...

When most home buyers think of insurance, they think of property or homeowners insurance which protects their home against fire, theft and other acts of God. While this is the most talked about and necessary insurance and required by the lender there are several other insurance policies you will hear about as you go through the process of purchasing a home. These other types of insurance are mortgage insurance, credit life insurance, flood insurance and in some areas wind policy insurance. Each is important depending on what type of financing you are apply for, where your home is located and what type of protection you want for your family in the event of your untimely death.
